Day Care
We look after your dogs and treat them like one of our own, with full- and half-day options available. A day at our doggy retreat involves plenty of play as well as naps and chances to relax. We stick to a schedule that’s designed to make the most of the time we have with our four-legged guests.
Pawrents stay fully informed while they’re away from their dogs, with a live video feed of the day centre and daily report cards. We want you to be able to see how much your pups enjoy their time at Mabel & Friends.

Grooming and styling
Our grooming and styling services send your dogs home looking and smelling their best. Mabel & Friends day retreat is home to a purpose-built salon that’s fully equipped to meet any owner’s request.
Our service includes specialist breed standard styling, which tailors the grooming to the unique needs and characteristics of different dog breeds. We can accommodate any canine, just speak to our experienced grooming staff if there’s a specific style you’d like.

Allergy testing
Our canine allergy testing can give you a better understanding of your dog’s needs.
Unfortunately our four legged friends can’t tell us what’s wrong, so having a clear idea of what’s causing irritation lets you adjust their regime or diet accordingly. This service tests for 374 different allergens or intolerances.

Nutritional consultations
Speak to our canine nutrition specialist with any questions or concerns you have about your dog’s diet.
We’ll work with you to keep your furry friends happy and healthy, tailoring advice to suit their age, breed, activity level and any health concerns.

Veterinary Nurse Visits
For added peace of mind, we offer consultations with a qualified veterinary nurse once a week. If you have any concerns about your dog’s weight, ears, teeth, skin or any other general concerns before visiting a vet, our nurse consultations can help to answer your questions, offer advice on general pet care and provide helpful tips to keep your dog happy and healthy.

External off-road walks and swims
If your dog is spending the day at Mabel & Friends, you can book them in for one of our extended hour-long off-site walks in our surrounding countryside. It’s the perfect chance for them to burn off some extra energy, and if the weather permits we also like to give them the opportunity to swim, paddle or play in the nearby Terling Ford.

Canine taxi
Our canine taxi services offer dog day care pick up and drop off to homes nearby, or one of our nominated local train stations. We chauffeur pups about in our fully fitted out vans, which feature air flow, heating and air conditioning, as well as crates with rubber flooring.

Dog training
We offer a variety of training options for dogs of all ages. We have personalised one-to-one sessions to cover all areas of obedience, while our small group puppy socialisation and training classes provide a fun and supportive environment for young learners to develop essential skills and confidence.

Puppy training classes
Gemma, our fully qualified and insured trainer, will be running a 6 week puppy training class, from Saturday 2nd November, until Sunday 6th December.
Not only do we accept dogs of all ages, but we make sure that puppies are carefully accommodated for. We take extra care with them, giving them their own separate spaces indoors and outdoors.
